About the Author
Jerramy Fine was raised in rural Colorado, where her hippie parents hoped and prayed she would outgrow her princess obsession. But she never did. Instead, she moved to England to seek out a more royal life. Her childhood quest to become a princess is detailed in her hilarious memoir Someday My Prince Will Come. Fine studied political science at the University of Rochester and social science at the London School of Economics. She lives in London.

A Delightful and Liberating Book With a Powerful Message

This book is an absolute delight, and with a powerful message--that it is important to encourage everyone to be who they really are and go after what they truly dream of being. In particular, it is a message of true feminism in that it celebrates feminine energy and power in all of its forms. The princess archetype is a powerful one that resonates with so many of us for a reason--in truth it is about celebrating the highest and most powerful version of ourselves. Jerramy Fine gives us all the permission to accept and honor our dreams and truly discover that there is a powerful princess within us all.

Truly a magical narrative. Jerramy Fine illustrates beautifully that princesses and feminism are not mutually exclusive, and that no matter who we are, we all have the right to honor the royalty inside us. Extremely empowering. Lots of praise for this book!

Wonderful read for all dreamers!

Very insightful read on what is femininity, emotional strength, and the benefit in young girls (and older ones) indulging in fantasy. I don't remember being wound up in the princess culture as a kid, but my daughter completely is. This book helped me find ways to relate the virtues that I want to pass on to her (independence, curiosity, kindness) in ways that she can understand. It was also a wonderful reminder and eye opener, not to stifle my daughter's dreams and creativity and to let her be who she is. I totally recommend it! One star knocked off because the very end was a bit slow and not as pertinent to my situation.
